What a minute of dubbing costs
Rask AI’s Creator plan is $39 a month ($28 billed yearly) for 25 minutes, about $1.56 a minute. Creator Pro is $99 for 100 minutes and Business $249 for 250. Extra minutes cost $3 each on Pro and Business. Rask’s pricing page also says prices are about to change, so check it before you buy.
BlaBlaScribe sells minute packs: 10 minutes for $15, 30 for $39, 60 for $72 and 100 for $100, so $1.00 to $1.50 a minute. There is no subscription: packs work with any plan, including the free one, and unused minutes don’t expire. One minute of video in one language uses one minute, and the translation is included.
Lip sync: the main difference
Rask can re-animate the speaker’s mouth to match the new language, from its Creator Pro plan. That matters for close-up talking heads, ads and spokesperson videos, where viewers watch the face. BlaBlaScribe doesn’t do lip sync: it times each line to the original speech. For tutorials, screen recordings, courses, interviews with B-roll and audio-only content, viewers rarely notice the difference. Not sure a voice-over is needed at all? See subtitles vs dubbing.
Reviewing the dub line by line
In BlaBlaScribe every translated line gets a voice script fitted to its slot. If a line still runs long, it is sped up slightly, shortened, or allowed to borrow part of the pause after it, and the lines that still don’t fit are flagged. Change one line and only that line is voiced again; try it on your own file in AI Dubbing. The subtitles keep the exact translation, so you can export the dubbed MP4 with subtitles burned in, or an SRT for YouTube. For subtitles alone, the video translator and subtitle translator work in 50+ languages.
