Terms of Service

The rules for using blablascribe.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the blablascribe website and services at blablascribe.com (the “Service”), operated by Vindrose sp. z o.o. (a Polish limited liability company, spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, registered at ul. Piękna 58c, 50-506 Wrocław, Poland; registered in the National Court Register under KRS No. 0001261581, tax ID (NIP) 8993066384) (“blablascribe”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Service — the blablascribe platform, including transcription, subtitle generation, translation, AI text tools, voice-over (dubbing), subtitle editing, and media conversion and compression tools;
  • User / you — any person who accesses or uses the Service;
  • Account — the personal or team account you register to use the Service;
  • User Content — any media, files, links, text, transcripts, subtitles, voice-overs and other material you upload, import, generate or edit through the Service;
  • Voice clone — a synthetic copy of a speaker’s voice that you create from a sample of their speech in your file, to voice your translations.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. To access most features you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorised use.

3. The Service

blablascribe lets you transcribe and generate subtitles from audio and video, translate and edit subtitles, and convert or compress media. You can provide media by uploading files or by importing from a link you supply. Transcription is performed on our own infrastructure; translation, AI text tools and voice-overs use third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We may add, change or remove features over time.

4. Plans, billing and payments

  • The Service offers a Starter plan and paid subscription plans. Current features and prices are shown on our Pricing page;
  • Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you choose — and renew automatically until cancelled;
  • You authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for applicable fees and taxes;
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
  • Voice-over minutes are sold separately as one-time packs. Purchased minutes do not expire and are not tied to a subscription. A voice-over reserves minutes for the length of the video when it starts and is charged only for what was actually voiced; minutes reserved for a voice-over that could not be completed are returned to your balance;
  • Refunds: fees, including voice-over packs, are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights;
  • Prices may change; we will give you reasonable advance notice of any changes to recurring fees.

5. Your Content and licence

You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. We do not claim ownership of it.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to run the transcription you request and to store your files for the retention period of your plan. This licence ends when your content is deleted, subject to the retention windows described in Section 9 and any backups required for a limited time.

6. Content you import by link and third-party rights

When you import media by pasting a link, you instruct us to retrieve audio from the source you specify. You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • You own the content or have all necessary rights, licences and permissions to submit and process it;
  • Your use does not infringe any copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights of third parties;
  • Your use complies with the terms of the source platform and with applicable law.

We do not review User Content for rights clearance and are not responsible for content you submit. You agree not to use the Service to process content you are not entitled to use.

7. Voice-overs and voice clones

Voice-overs are generated by AI. When you create a voice clone you confirm, each time, that the voice is your own or that you have the speaker’s permission to clone it and to use the copy for voice-overs. You are responsible for that permission being real, informed and, where the law requires it, in writing, and for being able to show it if asked.

You must not use voice-overs or voice clones to:

  • Impersonate a real person, or make it appear that someone said something they did not say, in a way that could mislead others;
  • Commit fraud, scams or social engineering (for example, imitating someone’s voice to obtain money, access or information);
  • Create sexual, harassing, defamatory or hateful content involving a real person’s voice;
  • Mislead people about elections, public officials or public-interest matters;
  • Clone the voice of a minor, or of anyone who has not given permission.

Where the law requires it — for example, the EU rules on disclosing AI-generated or manipulated audio and video — you are responsible for telling your audience that a voice-over is AI-generated or uses a synthetic voice.

We may refuse to create a voice clone, delete one, and suspend or close the account if we reasonably believe these rules were broken or if the speaker asks us to remove their voice. Our voice-over provider may also block requests that violate its own usage policies. How voice samples are stored and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy (sections 2.3 and 8); you can delete a voice at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights;
  • Upload or process content that is illegal, defamatory, or that violates privacy or intellectual-property rights;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
  • Circumvent usage limits, security measures or access controls;
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a way that harms it or other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Storage and retention

Files and generated outputs are retained according to your plan. On the Starter plan, files are kept in active storage for 30 days. On paid plans, files are kept while your subscription is active; after cancellation they remain recoverable for a retention window that depends on your plan — 60 days on Creator, 9 months on Pro and 18 months on Business, after which they are permanently deleted. We may send advance reminders before deletion. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and content (excluding User Content), is owned by blablascribe or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), Google (Gemini API, for translation and AI text tools), ElevenLabs (voice-overs) and analytics providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of features involving these providers may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Availability and disclaimer of warranties

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service and all transcription, translation and voice-over outputs are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Automated transcription, translation and voice-overs may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. This section does not exclude any warranty that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, blablascribe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless blablascribe from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party rights.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your content is handled according to the retention rules in Section 9.

16. Changes to these Terms or the Service

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email or through the Service, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We may also modify or discontinue features at our discretion.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Wrocław, Poland will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
