Meetings vs recordings
Fireflies is built to sit in your meetings. Its bot joins Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex, transcribes, summarises and sends the notes to your CRM and chat. Uploading a file is possible, but secondary: uploads are capped at 150 minutes each, and on uploads speakers get generic labels.
BlaBlaScribe is built for files. Upload a recording or paste a link, and you get a speaker-labelled transcript of up to five hours that you can edit, translate, summarise and export as subtitles.
Languages and translation
Fireflies supports English fully; Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian are supported and most of its other 100+ languages are in beta. There is no transcript translation — you re-transcribe in another language instead.
