One source SRT became six market-ready files with timing untouched. Our agency quoted two weeks for the same job.
English → Polish · timing preserved: Translate Subtitles from English to Polish
Polish inflects heavily, has no articles and uses a distinctive set of diacritics — all of which affect how a line reads on screen. Upload an SRT, VTT or video and keep the original timing.

What Changes When English Becomes Polish
Three things worth knowing before you ship Polish captions.
Polish nouns and adjectives take endings for seven cases and three genders, which lengthens individual words; dropping English articles claws some of that back. Net expansion is usually around 15%, but agreement is the real issue: a mistranslated ending is far more noticeable to a Polish reader than a slightly long line.
ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź and ż are distinct letters, not decorated versions of Latin ones. Losing them changes words outright, and Polish readers treat stripped diacritics the way English readers treat missing vowels.
Where English says you, formal Polish uses Pan or Pani with a third-person verb, and the choice depends on the gender of the person addressed. It is a structural difference rather than a word swap, which is why literal translations of direct address so often sound wrong.
One English cue, translated into Polish
English hides the speaker’s gender; Polish verbs show it.
- 00:00:02,200 → 00:00:04,600
English: Did you upload the new version?
Polish: Czy przesłałeś nową wersję?
- 00:00:05,000 → 00:00:06,800
English: I’ve already sent it.
Polish: Już ją wysłałam.
Przesłałeś asks a man; a woman would be asked “przesłałaś”. In the reply, wysłałam tells the viewer a woman is speaking, something the English line leaves open.
English → Polish, Done Right
Polish runs a little longer; the English timing stays put.
Agreement that holds
Case and gender endings match across each sentence rather than following English word order.
Full Polish alphabet preserved
ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź and ż export intact in SRT and VTT.
Cues keep their English timing
Polish lines inherit the start and end time of each English cue, so longer phrasing is tightened rather than re-timed.
Gendered forms checked in context
Each Polish line sits next to its English original, so a verb ending that does not match the speaker is easy to fix.

Uploaded a two-hour recording during lunch — the transcript was waiting before I finished my coffee. The accuracy genuinely surprised me.
Our legal team approved it because processing stays on EU infrastructure. That alone ruled out most of the competition.
Seeing source and translation together makes QA fast. We ship subtitles the same day we cut the video.
No card, no tricks — I tested real files before paying and upgraded a week later because the workflow stuck.
Had trouble with a huge file — support walked me through batch upload the same morning. Rare these days.
